Economy that succeeds
JCI Germany (Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland) is the biggest German association of young leaders and entrepreneurs in Germany with more than 10,000 active members under the age of 40. With 210 local organizations JCI Germany is the largest network of the young economy in Germany. We are successful in our profession - but want to impact beyond!
Since 1958 JCI Germany is member of the international organisation Junior Chamber International (JCI) - an organisation with more than 200,000 members in more than 100 national and 5,000 local organisations. JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society. Our common mission: To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.
Intention to impact
We are responsible for about 300,000 jobs, 35,000 apprenticeship training positions and more than €120 billion total revenue. We are active in all sectors of industry: service, industry and trade. And, we are united in diversity, in the will to impact and succeed - and we have one common goal.
As young leaders and entrepreneurs we want to develop and strengthen Germany as business location and secure growth and competitiveness. Therefore, we are looking beyond the next annual statements. We do not need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, we count on tradition and virtues: sense of responsibility, integrity and respectability.
Same as our values, our positions are based on practical experience in business. We are the first to perceive social change. Therefore, for us the lack of skilled labor and demographic change are no future (challenges), but daily challenges, for which we have to find solutions together - now.
